Tessa Sanderson Foundation
The Tessa Sanderson Foundation & Academy strives to assist young individuals reach a healthier and more confident lifestyle. Her participation during Magna Carta College’s 12 anniversary celebration was meaningful to the College as it takes a new approach to offering courses in sports and event management, especially helping those with sport injuries who have struggled to regain an independent life.
Magna Carta College will offer two hundred places to selected candidates from the Tessa Sanderson Foundation and Academy to study online programmes offered through the Association of Business Executives (ABE) and the Association of Business Practitioners (ABP). Magna Carta College, Oxford, is offering ABE and ABP qualifications using an online teaching system, combined with practical business experience, to create job-ready candidates.
On Saturday, July 14th, 2013 Magna Carta College’s very own Bursar, Amanda Whittingdon, bravely took part in the British 10K run through the streets of London while England was in the midst of a heat wave. We are very pleased to announce that Amanda completed the run in just one hour and six minutes, alongside 25,000 participants from all over the world.
Global Ambassador Scholarship Programme
Magna Carta College Oxford has introduced The Global Ambassador Scholarship Programme (GASPR) which is a unique programme that provides access to education to talented and promising individuals through their country representatives. The programme awards scholarships on an annual basis and is supported by various countries and their official representatives.
Magna Carta College will allocate 42 scholarships ranging from partial to full tuition coverage for the autumn 2013 and winter 2014 intakes. Scholarships will represent 50%, 70% and 100% of the published tuition fee as stated on the College’s website.
Kiya Survivors, PERU
We sponsored one of our team members, Tasia Tate's two month trip to Peru in 2010, where she worked in a small village for the charity 'Kiya Suvivors' who help children with disabilities.
We sponsored the art work of an eminent PR guru in the UK, Mr Paul Winner. His art work was displayed in the Reform Club during the month of October 2010. We pride ourselves on being associated with accomplished business persons and academics.
Partnering with Oxford Rugby allows us to get involved with the local sports team.
