The programme is in general intended as a one-year programme. Arrangements will be made however for any part-time students to be able to complete the programme over two years. As required for Masters programmes, the MA will have 1,800 hours of study in a variety of forms including self-study reading and assignment preparation. The MA involves a total of 180 credits, allocated as follows:  

The compulsory Core Courses, each of 20 credits are:

1.  International Marketing Strategy
2.  International Marketing
3.  Consumer Brand Management
4.  Business Research Methods  

The elective modules currently offered each count for 20 credits (the list will be expanded over time). A choice of two is required for the degree from:

1.International Cooperative Strategy
2. Marketing Research
3 Advertising and Promotion

Please note that the number of electives offered may vary year-to-year depending on factors such as level of student demand. The third part of the programme is a dissertation on a marketing topic. Its length shall not exceed 20,000 words. This will be allocated 60 credits, making 180 in total.

University of Wales regulations concerning marking schemes will be adhered to.
